Memorable hot springs "Osawa onsen" in Hanamaki

One of the greatest attraction of Iwate is Hot springs.

You can find wide variety of hot springs everywhere in Iwate.

For someone does not have much time but would like very unique experience, I would recommend "Osawa-Onsen" in Hanamaki. (Onsen = Hot springs)

Unique point is

1, Big outdoor hot springs with great scenery. And it is mixed bathing (with no bathing suit)

2, Very old traditional architecture and interiors. Just like time traveling to early 19oo!

In the really beautiful, calm nature, you will find warm house.

The combination of natural resources and human life is worth to visit.

You can visit for just hot springs with 5oo yen.

Or there are 3 kinds of accommodation choices as below,

1, Traditional self-catering place "Jisui-bu" (economy)

2, Also traditional thatched houses with steep raftered roofs, with dinner and breakfast "Kiku sui kan" (middle)

3, Comfortable Japanese-style Inns with dinner and breakfast "San sui kaku" (First class)
